This competition invites participants to immerse themselves in the world of music composition. Participants will use their artistic prowess to craft original compositions that showcase their musical ingenuity.

 

Format and Rules:

• Participants can include instrumentals, vocals and digitally rendered music .

• Participants may use any software they want.

• Participants can only submit one piece of music up to 5 minutes long.

• Participants found using artificial intelligence tools will be disqualified IMMEDIATELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY.

• The competition will have two rounds:

• Round 1 (Online):

  • A melody will be provided on Saturday, 26th September on the Discord server that the participants must remix and/or add their own music to.

  • They must submit their final .mp3 file along with a screen recording of their software or videos of them singing and/or playing instruments on Google Forms, the link of which will be shared on the Discord server.

  • The deadline for submission for the online round is 11:59 P.M. on Sunday, 4th October.

• Round 2 (Offline):

  • The shortlisted participants from the online round will be invited for the final round which will be conducted on the school premises.

  • Participants will be given two samples on the spot and will need to create an original composition that includes one or both of the samples within two hours.

  • The offline round will be held on Saturday, 10th October.
