Kryptos is SHISTECH’s flagship cryptic hunt. Cryptic hunts are the online equivalents of treasure hunts, where participants use the internet and tools like image decoders, backlinks and ciphers to find clues and solve questions which get progressively harder. The questions test participants’ general problem-solving skills as well as their knowledge of popular internet culture.

Format and Rules:

Participants are allowed to use the internet and all other tools at their disposal to decipher codes and find clues.

Any participant found helping or getting help from other participants or non-participants will be disqualified IMMEDIATELY AND UNCONDITIONALLY.

Leads will be given at regular intervals to help participants solve levels.

The hunt will begin at 12 A.M. on Saturday, 3rd October, and will

end at 11:59 P.M. on Sunday 4th October.
