AD Making Competition

This competition challenges participants' technical and creative skills in editing, videography, direction, acting, and storytelling. It includes two categories with separate topics and prizes:

Categories and Topics:

• 6th-8th Grade: Topics will be provided on Discord server

• 9th-12th Grade: Topics will be provided on Discord server

Format and Rules:

• Submit a YouTube link to your entry via Google Forms (link shared on the Discord server). Include an information transcript in the description detailing the equipment, crew, and software used.

• The AD must be 1.5-3 minutes long.

• The shortlisted teams will the be invited to the offline event, where they will be given a tour of a particular area.

• The teams will then be given a random object and will have to make an AD for it, with a minimum time of 1.5 minutes. They will be allowed to shoot the AD only within the area of the tour.

• First, second, and third place will be awarded in each category.

• Any video editing software is permitted.

• All aspects of the AD (acting, directing, shooting, writing, and editing) must be done by the team. External help will result in disqualification.

• Only English and Hindi are allowed; no other languages will be accepted.

• The submission deadline for online round is 5th October, 11:59pm.
